Kawartha Lakes Tourism Study

Project:

Documented current state of IT awareness and usage by tourism operators in the Kawartha Lakes region. Conducted supply chain analysis of tourism sector in Kawartha Lakes to identify gaps in IT usage and opportunities for cost savings and new revenues using IT and broadband.

(January - April 2005)

Results:

Characterized gaps in IT usage by the tourism industry in Kawartha Lakes and provided recommendations, with actionable items, on how those gaps could be closed. Developed a benchmark and tracking methodology for future impact measurement of the benefits from IT and broadband.
