Community readiness self-assessment
How we
help : SNG has
guided numerous communities through the exploration of
the potential and possibilities a broadband network
provides. Is your community even ready for launch? What
are your community’s unique strengths and weaknesses?
Where are the “gaps” that need to be addressed for the
successful implementation of broadband. SNG examines and
answers each and every one of these critical questions
with you.
Process : SNG
surveys stakeholders involved in the preparation effort,
covering six “readiness” categories: leadership, vision
and plan, organizational stability, community awareness,
implementation ability, and market profile.
The
results are summarized in an interim report that serves
as the basis for a half-day brainstorming session with
critical project champions. SNG helps community
stakeholders develop a framework of prioritized actions
to move towards their broadband strategy and
implementation plan.
